Member of the month – Sis. Jada Hamilton

We are excited to feature Sis. Jada Hamilton as our Pleasant Grove MB Church Member of the Month. We are extremely proud of her accomplishments!

Sis. Jada went away to New York to study and pursue her dream to play volleyball in college. She attended Alliance University for three years and majored in Education. She is now back at home and continuing her studies at Grand Canyon University.

At present, Sis. Jada is a volleyball coach at Houston Prime Volleyball and a paraprofessional at an Alternative Learning Center. She is humbled at the path God has led her in her life and excited as He unveils His plans for her future.

The transition from New York back to Houston has been challenging, but Sis. Jada is thankful that God has seen her through, and she now appreciates Romans 8:28, “All things work together for good to them that love God.”

Sis. Jada’s desire is to complete her education and become a teacher. Educating the young, showing them the love of God, and inspiring them to be all that God wants them to be.

She is now back at Pleasant Grove singing in the choir alongside her mother, Sis. Lawanda Hamilton and sister, Sis. Shaqueena Harvey. She is also blessed to worship alongside her father, Associate Pastor, Anthony Hamilton Sr. and brother, Bro. Anthony Hamilton Jr. Sis. Jada had a church home in New York, but she says, “There is no place like home” and she is thrilled to be once more at Pleasant Grove learning under Pastor Dr. Sheldon Jackson. He has taught her to always stay grounded in the Word of God and remain faithful to Him.

Let’s show Sis. Jada some love and support in the comments below and keep her lifted up in our prayers.
