We only get one chance to make a first impression. At Pleasant Grove MB Church, we believe one of the best ways to impact people’s lives and grow as a follower of Christ at the same time is to serve others in practical ways. Serving on the Welcome Team is also a great way to meet new people and build meaningful relationships with others on your team as well as those you serve each week.

What is the Welcome Team?
We are a team of volunteers who help create a welcoming and friendly environment on our campus where people can experience Christ rather than man’s creation of religion so they can grow strong in Christ and take the Christ experience to the world.

THE TEAMS:

Greeter Team

Our Greeters personally welcome everyone that walks onto our campus with a warm greeting and make them feel accepted by making eye contact and offering whatever assistance is needed.

Usher Team

Our Ushers help welcome and assist everyone as they walk into the auditorium. They also assist with the offering and any other need that arises before, during, and after each service.

Transit Team

Our Transit Team Members are on the front lines of the Welcome Team and they offer the first smile and wave to everyone that drives onto our property. They help create a fun and friendly environment while at the same time helping direct all incoming and exiting traffic.

Medical First Responder Team

Our First Responders offer care and compassionate medical assistance to anyone in need during our weekend services.

Bulletin Assembly Team

Bulletin Assembly Team helps prepare for the weekend by stuffing bulletins on Saturday morning.

Guest Services Team

Our Guest Services Team Members help provide our first-time guests with special care and individualized attention as they are introduced to our campus and the many ministries we offer each family. They also help to answer any questions and introduce people to other ministry areas that are available to serve our church family and community.
